1965 Plymouth AWB Hardtop (Supercar LE) Lee Smith (Have One)!

#50785WLC - Located One - 1965 Plymouth AWB Issue #3 1:18 scale of "Lee Smith's" Fuel Injected Altered Wheelbase A/FX hardtop named Haulin' Hemi II. This car still exists today and is the real car that was used to measure & photograph to create these 1:18 scale die-cast cars. Power comes from a race ready fuel injected 426 Hemi complete with spark plug wires, fuel lines, injector pump tucked down by the core support, and even real metal brake line from the master cylinder.

This is backed by a 4-speed, a rotating driveshaft, and Dana rear end held in by U-bolts to the real metal leaf springs. Yes, it's that detailed. It has the moved forward K-member, front and rear wheelwells changed/moved, roll cage, detailed fuel system with dual electric pumps, and fuel lines to the small trunk mounted fuel tank (stock tank removed). Then the detailed parachute in the rear license pocket, and a parachute pull handle in the single seat race interior. One of the coolest & most correct 1:18 die-cast drag cars made.

Then notice the Satellite trim, rear bumper guards, and small gas tank with a "spinner" gas cap inside the trunk.

This is the only '65 Plymouth 1:18 scale that has the Satellite trim front and back, plus the bumper guards (as Lee added all this to the race car to be different) plus it has real gold foil lettering. This also has new grey Torque Thrust 5 spoke mag wheels all the way around, with narrow treaded tires up front, and pie crust slicks on the rear. This is the 1st fuel injected Altered Wheelbase car made in 1:18 scale die-cast. There were 798 of this AWB made exclusively for Supercar Collectibles and is Issue # 3 in the Supercar Raceway series.
