#A1801891 - In Stock - in 1:18 scale is the 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 Prototype in White. Serial number KK1201 was originally painted Silver Jade and was eventually sold through Ford’s famous resale lot. It changed hands over the years with its significance going unnoticed by the previous owners.

This is a barn find was the holy grail for Mustang enthusiasts…serial number KK1201 is the very first Boss 429 ever assembled. It is also the very first 4 speed, shaker hood car ever produced. It was repainted Wimbledon White and drag wheels and tires at some point. Nearly lost forever, this car has been rescued and is being restored back to its former glory!

Kar Kraft’s main purpose for KK201 was used for wheel and tire fitment testing. Its original fenders and quarter panels are still rolled for the 15x7 wheels, and it also has the original block, transmission, shaker hood, and prototype hood.

Adding further to the significance of this Boss 429 Prototype was used to create the fiberglass mold for the “Ohio” George Montgomery’s 1969 Gasser.

Supercar Collectibles produced a 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 in Silver Jade, which is still available for sale, (Item # A1801859SC) if you are interested in the restored version of this car. Silver Jade is a very eye catching color.
