The Mustang Limited Edition 600 was a unique variant sold in the Philadelphia area for the 1969 model year. The Limited Edition 600 package was available on any hardtop or sports roof Mustang. Each of the cars received a special Limited Edition 600 decal, which was located under the Mustang emblems on the front fenders. Other features included a non-functional hood scoop, E78 x 14 whitewall tires, chrome remote driver's side mirror, and AM radio. However, the rarest 600 could be achieved by applying the F-code to the order which yielded the 302 V8 engine
