1965 Mustang A/FX - Colt .45 - Southern Speed & Marine Series

#A1801882 - Pre-Order - expected in the 4th quarter of 2025 (announced 7/17/25) in 1:18 scale is a 1965 Ford Mustang A/FX Drag Car called Colt .45. This car is being produced by ACME and it will have a lift off hood so you can check out the wired and plumbed engine, a fully detailed race interior including a roll cage, and an opening trunk. Only 402 pieces will be made and then they will be gone.

At first glance, it may not look all that different from any other run-of-the-mill first-generation Mustang. On closer examination, however, the velocity stacks provide the hint that something special lurks underneath. The A/FX Mustangs all used Ford 427 cubic-inch engines, five of which were the SOHC (single overhead cam) version of that power plant. Engine bays were modified to position the engine further back in the chassis.

The Southern Speed & Marine '65 Ford Mustang A/FX Colt .45 features a weathered barn find appearance, sporting the COLT .45 door logos and horseshoe on each front fender. Open the doors and you'll discover the fully detailed race interior with a 4-speed manual transmission and dash mounted tachometer. Detailed undercarriage, lift off hood, and so much more!
