1957 Bel Air Gasser - Shake, Rattle & Run

#A1807018 - In Stock - in 1:18 scale is a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Gasser Tribute called Shake, Rattle & Run. This car will be produced by ACME and will feature opening doors and a lift off hood, a fuel injected drag engine, a detailed chassis, plus Cragar Drag Wheels and Tires. Only 500 will be made worldwide.

Here’s a little background information on the Shake, Rattle & Run car. Back in 1959, Dick Messino and Eric Schmidt were hanging around a guy named Paul Cline, or (CB) as he was known to his friends. Cline had gotten a 1957 Chevy Bel Air for a graduation present. It was white with red and white interior, a power pack combo of a 220hp 283, and a 3-speed trans. It wasn’t long after hanging out with Dick and Eric that the car was doing a lot of street racing.

Shake, Rattle & Run ’57 Sport Coupe became a feared Midwest drag strip staple for decades. Chromed straight axle, long traction bars, Cragar S/S wheels and wheel stands were routine. Definitely an original “Axle Car”!
