#A1805528 - Pre-Order - expected in the 4th quarter of 2024 (announced 6/13/24) in 1:18 scale is a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS painted Special Metallic Orange named “Sunkist”. This car will be produced by ACME and will be limited to 600 pieces. This car will feature a wired and plumbed 454 LS6 motor under the opening hood. You can open the doors to check out the well detailed interior all the way down to the seat belts. The trunk opens to reveal the jack and spare tire and the chassis has some very nice details.
Here's some background inforamtion on the "Sunkist" Chevelle. Clarksville native, Patrick Nichols, has been on many treasure hunts and has discovered 50 or more classic muscle cars that had been forgotten about over time in barns, garages, storage sheds and backyards since his youth. Recently, Nichols found a rare and valuable 1970 Chevelle SS454 LS6, that was stashed away in an industrial storage building in Reno, Nevada.
The Chevelle was built in Van Nuys, California and finished with a Special Metallic Orange paint option. It is estimated that less than 25 of the extraordinary care were assembled and painted this unique orange. Nichols purchased the car and had it transported to CLarksville. It was restored and named "Sunkist" as a nod to its original paint.
