#A1801875 - In Stock - in 1:18 scale is a 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-500KR Convertible in Raven Black. This is the second Shelby Mustang Convertible being produced by ACME and will be limited to 750 pieces.

ACME includes some amazing details on their cars including a wired and plumbed 428 Cobra Jet engine backed by an Automatic Transmission. The Black interior looks just like the real car and includes folding seat backs. You can display the car with the White top up or with the top down plus it has an opening hood, doors and trunk. The chassis hasn’t been overlooked and has some great detailing.

Here’s a little history of the GT500KR…Famed American automotive designer, racing driver and entrepreneur Carroll Shelby partnered with Ford to build Mustang-based performance cars. The result of their collaboration was the Shelby GT350 in 1965. By 1968, the car had evolved to the GT500 and would see the first convertible built in the series. This ’68 Shelby GT500 is also the more limited KR, which stood for “King of the Road”, including a decked out 428 cubic inch Cobra Jet V8.
